Here is what I did with my WHEELING STEEL "Maple Sugarwater Bucket" - - - - I found this pump which is in great shape. A barn fell down at my grandparents farm so I was able to get some old weathered boards to make a stand for the pump. Wheeling is an Indian word. Wheeling was settled in 1769 by Ebenezer, Jonathan, Andrew, and Silas Zane. Fort Henry, once Fort Fincastle, built, 1774. Mail boats, 1794, National Pike, 1818, B. & O. This pre-civil war home is said to be the 3rd house built in South Wheeling. The house is located on the river front, and many of its unique features are still preserved.
